About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi‑skilled trades team in delivering high-quality, customer‑focused maintenance services. You will play a key role in ensuring that all works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards, while upholding safety, quality and performance expectations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership capability, a solid technical background, and a passion for service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support the maintenance team to deliver effective, customer-focused services.
Manage team recruitment, training, performance and development in line with company policies.
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and responsibly, with attention to cleanliness, noise and dust control.
Oversee work scheduling, productivity and the achievement of key performance indicators.
Conduct property inspections, prepare detailed reports and produce specifications for works.
Authorise works, variations and invoices within agreed limits.
Ensure all operational ICT systems are accurately and promptly updated.
Monitor sub-contractors to ensure compliance with standards and performance targets.
Carry out van stock audits and equipment checks.
Support and monitor health and safety processes, including training requirements and risk assessments.
Investigate and respond to customer feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Participate in flexible working patterns and standby duty rotas as required.
Promote robust governance, safeguarding, risk management and equality standards across the service.
What You Will Bring
Experience managing a multi‑disciplinary maintenance or trades team.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and contractor management.
Ability to manage change and challenges constructively.
Strong ICT skills with the ability to interpret and report on financial and performance data.
Up-to-date knowledge of building maintenance practices and developments.
Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Ability to pass a DBS check.

Salary from £38,000 to £41,000
